I always intended to rerender this one. The older pic (now removed from the gallery) was rendered with the standard 3dsmax Light-tracer algorithm.
This one is rendered with Mental Ray and the materials on the cans have been tweaked to better match an actual RedBull can.
The depth-of-field is anything but subtle, though it does look softer than in the previous render.
I'm still not entirely satisfied with the look so I might do another re-render some day, we'll see... Rendertime was 6 hours, 22 minutes on an Athlon XP 2600 with 1GB RAM.
